Night street scene in Hokkaido
Same energy / different altitude

After dark still hits.

The mountain is the headline, but the city nights, food, side streets, and crew chemistry are what make the trip actually memorable.

Why Japow HQ

More than a trip.

Japow HQ is what happens when the group chat actually makes it to Japan. A shared base. Flexible day plans. Good people. Enough structure to keep it clean — but not so much that it kills the whole point.

Riders, not tourists.
Homies, not headcounts.

This is a hosted small-group structure. No fake luxury-tour wrapper. No promising guaranteed powder or guaranteed itineraries. Just the right people in the right place with a way better energy than the typical package-tour setup.

Good to know

Questions that matter.

Is this a guided snowboard trip? No. Japow HQ is a hosted small-group travel structure, not a guide service or avalanche service. Any professional guiding or technical mountain service would need to be separately arranged through an appropriately qualified provider.
What is included? The group house and trip communication / hosting structure for your confirmed session. Flights, lift tickets, meals, gear, travel insurance, and personal purchases stay on the rider unless the final trip paperwork specifically says otherwise.
Do riders need insurance?Yes. Riders need valid travel insurance for Japan and winter sports. If they plan any backcountry riding, they should have explicit backcountry, evacuation, and search-and-rescue coverage.
Why the rider portal?Because it is the cleanest way to keep payments, emergency contacts, travel details, agreements, and rider notes organized without hunting through messages.
